EA SPORTS™ UFC® Mobile 2  is a free-play game developed by Electronic Arts. As the name suggests, this app is the official UFC game. Here, you can experience the action and excitement of one-on-one combat in the octagon straight from your mobile devices.

UFC® Mobile 2 will have the same gameplay as the first UFC Mobile game. It lets you fight in campaigns and raids and participate in live and special events to earn in-game rewards.  It will also include a whole roster of real-life players. However, unlike its predecessor, you will find the movements slow and the fights unsatisfying.

The octagon is calling

UFC® Mobile 2 is a fighting game that brings authentic mixed martial arts and enables you to fight as one of the MMA fighters. You'll begin playing as a middleweight fighter Brad Tavares. Then as you win fights, you can start fighting in different categories and even compete in championship titles. Your fighter will also level up and increase their strength and unique abilities. You can also unlock new characters.

As this is the official app for UFC, the fighters you can unlock are real-life players. However, you'll have to open up your fair share of trading card packs like FIFA. You can also engage with live content in-between actual UFC events. As mentioned, the game allows you to fight in campaigns and special events for exclusive rewards. The more you play, the more you win.

The controls are simple and are well-adapted to smartphones. Tapping the screen allows you to launch a jab that you can spin into a special attack. Although, special attacks need charging from time to time. However, while the controls are easy, players will find the animation during fights too slow. It has an arcade feel that does not work for fighting games. Moreover, the lack of combos makes it unsatisfying.

Is the game good?

Based on its offering, EA SPORTS™ UFC® Mobile 2 seems like a treat for UFC fans. With this, you can play as your favorite fighter. The sports game does not only allow you to participate in matches, it even lets you engage in actual UFC events. However, its performance is a total letdown compared with its predecessor. The movements are too slow, and the animation is not fluid.
